Mission Statement
The Spiritualist Fellowship Church of New England desires to establish within our walls the Science, Religion, and Philosophy of Spiritualism.
Spiritualism is a Science because it investigates, analyses and classifies facts and manifestations demonstrated from the spirit side of life.
Spiritualism is a Religion because it strives to understand and to comply with the physical, mental, and Spiritual Laws of Nature, or God's Laws.
Spiritualism is a Philosophy because it studies the Laws of Nature both on the seen and unseen sides of life and bases it conclusion upon present observed facts. It accepts statements of observed facts of past ages and conclusions drawn therefrom, when sustained by reason and by results of observed facts of the present day. A religion that continually grows with new knowledge when proven.
We hope to offer comfort, love, and joy to all. We hope to continue learning which promotes self growth for all time, here and hereafter. We accept the fact that we have the divine spark within us, as all living things do, and are working on being the best we can be on this earthly journey. We know that life continues in a higher form once the earthen clay is worn out and the change called death takes place.

Spiritualist Declaration of Principles
In Spiritualism we have no dogma or creed, but we do have a set of 9 principles that we try
to use in our daily lives.
- 1. We believe in Infinite Intelligence.
- 2. We believe that the phenomena of nature, both physical and spiritual, is the expression of Infinite Intelligence.
- 3. We affirm that a correct understanding of such expression, and living in accordance therewith, constitutes
true religion.
- 4. We affirm that the existence and personal identity of an individual continue after the change called death.
- 5. We affirm that communication with the so-called dead is a fact, scientifically proven by the phenomena of
Spiritualism.
- 6. We believe that the highest morality is contained in the Golden Rule: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you".
- 7. We affirm the moral responsibility of the individual and that they make their own happiness or unhappiness
as they obey or disobey Nature's physical and spiritual laws.
- 8. We affirm that the doorway to reformation is never closed to any human soul here or hereafter.
- 9. We affirm the precepts of prophecy and healing are divine attributes proven through Mediumship.
Natural Law
Natural Law is the law which Infinite Intelligence/God (a power or source) has set in motion to govern all that has been created or is in being. It is immutable and unchangeable and we know of no instance where the Source has set aside that law in response to any human appeal, nor suspended that law for any other reason. Below we are listing a few of the Natural Laws.
Natural Law is know by many names such as:
Cosmic Consciousness
Cosmic Law
Universal Law
Spirit
Infinite Intelligence
God
"The Golden Rule" This is also sixth Principle of Spiritualism. "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."
Law of Love -- The law of love is the creative source and power of all life. The realization of this law is the highest goal to be attained; love is purifying. It is the power that lifts the heart and soul to the highest spiritual awareness.
Law of Desire -- The quality of desire underlies the process. We never receive anything beyond the height of our desires.
Law of Attraction -- Repulsion - Propulsion --Turns on the switch. Material - herein two like objects repel or are unattracted to each other. Spiritual - where two like objects attract each other. "Birds of a feather flock together." Scientific example is magnetic attraction.
Law of Vibration -- Acts as the transmitter, sends out, or is the life of all things. All things in the universe are existing in a state of motion called vibration. Their rate of vibration dictates the form or stating that they assume.
Law of Cause and Effect -- Every action has an appropriate reaction! Each of us sets this law in motion every moment of every day as we think, as we act. For, what we create we live with, be it joy or sorrow. This law demands that each person be solely responsible for himself for he is an individual creating a cause which results in an effect.
Laws closely aligned with Cause & Effect:
Law of Compensation
Law of Retribution
Law of Karma
Law of Sequence
Law of Moral Consequence
Law of Compensation -- Retribution -- Acts as a balancer. Compensation metes out to man justly his payment for his own acts -- be they good or bad or indifferent. "You get back exactly what you give out."
Law of Karma -- "As a man sows, so shall he reap." Every action may have its karmic reaction, but we are free to choose our own actions. Also, even though adherents of karma say hat we are currently living under karmic debts from the past, we are still free to choose how we will meet and pay those debts.
Law of Sequence -- This is the karmic law as well as the law of retaliation. Nothing stands alone and no act can be totally isolated.
Law of Moral Consequence -- as stated before "As man sows, so he will reap by succession of consequences collectively here and individually hereafter."
Law of Co-Operation -- determines the character and degree of the contact.
Law of Conservation of Energy -- This is a principle in Physics . This law states that: "Mr and energy are interchangeable; and the total amount of energy and matter in the universe is constant."
